Belief Bears is preparing 100 handcrafted Belief Bear Minis, each paired with a handwritten encouragement message, for children and adults in Chicago Heights experiencing hardship, grief, illness, loneliness, displacement, or transition.

The Circle of Comfort
One gift begins a circle. Donors provide resources. Volunteers create with care. Community partners connect the bears with people who need comfort. Each small act of compassion can inspire another.
Give. Help provide materials, packaging, encouragement cards, and local delivery.
Create. Volunteers sew or crochet approved Minis, write messages, pray over the bears, inspect them, and package them with care.

Churches, businesses, healthcare providers, shelters, schools, senior-care programs, and community organizations are invited to join the circle.
We will work with each participating organization to place Minis where they can offer meaningful comfort.

Partnership Begins With a Yes
Churches, businesses, healthcare providers, shelters, schools, senior-care programs, and community organizations are invited to join the circle. Your yes might be donated materials, a volunteer's time, a sponsorship, or an introduction to a neighbor who needs hope.
We will work with participating organizations to determine where the Minis can offer meaningful comfort. Each partnership will be shaped around the people being served.
Who We Hope to Serve
Children and families navigating crisis or transition; patients and caregivers; seniors experiencing loneliness; neighbors grieving a loss; and people reached through churches, shelters, recovery programs, and community organizations.
Every Mini will be given freely.
No recipient will be required to share a photograph or personal story to receive one. We will track materials, completed bears, distributions, and brief partner feedback without identifying recipients.
